Chino Trinidad's Live AKA BLOG Updates: Pacquiao-Hatton Fight

Is this a first for Philippine sportscasting?

PBL Commissioner & Sportscaster Chino Trinidad, broadcasting live from MGM Grand Las Vegas, had a chance to AKA BLOG certain highlights of the Pacquiao-Hatton Fight from his mobile phone!

The AKA BLOG updates were sent as text messages and posted automatically to his personal AKA website (http://aka.name/chino3), to his Facebook account, and to AKA-registered mobile phone users via the AKA WATCH feature.

Personally, it was such a nice multi-media experience for me as I watched the LIVE STREAM of SkyCable at the South of Market (SOMA) Theatre, thanks to
Asst. GM Ms. Sarah Rafer! While I was watching the pre-fights, I was receiving the AKA BLOG updates of Chino on my mobile phone.

I was also posting AKA BLOG messages, via text message, to my Facebook status box. So happy that Pacquiao won tho it was such a short fight. Mabuhay ka Pacquiao!!
